sadanga yogan na tu naiva shuddham
mano-vinashan na tu naiva shuddham
gurupadeshan na tu naiva shuddham
swayam cha tattvam swayam eva buddham

The practice of yoga will not lead you to purity;
Silencing the mind will not lead you to purity;
The Guru’s instructions will not lead you to purity;
That purity is your Essence. It’s your very own Consciousness!

La práctica del yoga no te conducirá a la pureza;
Silenciar la mente no te conducirá a la pureza;
Las instrucciones del Gurú no te conducirán a la pureza;
Esa pureza es tu Esencia. ¡Es tu propia Conciencia!
