prakritih purusho na hi bheda iti
na hi karana-karya vibheda iti
yadi chaika-nirantara sarva-shivam
purushapurusham cha katham vadati

There isn’t any difference between Prakriti (female principle) and Purusha (male principle);
There isn’t any difference between Cause and effect.
If there’s only the limitless One, all is Shiva.
How, then, could one speak of Purusha (the Self) or not-Purusha?

No existe ninguna diferencia entre Prakriti (principio femenino) y Purusha (principio masculino);
No existe ninguna diferencia entre Causa y efecto.
Si solo existe el Uno Ilimitado, todo es Shiva.
¿Cómo, entonces, podría uno hablar de Purusha (el Ser) o de no, Purusha?
