indrajalam idam sarvam
yatha maru-marichika
akhanditam anakara
vartate kevalah shivah

All this [world] is conjured by magic;
It’s only the water of a desert mirage.
Beyond all differences, beyond all forms,
Truly, there is only Shiva alone.
❧
Todo este [mundo] es conjurado por la magia;
Es solo el agua de un espejismo del desierto.
Más allá de todas las diferencias, más allá de todas las formas,
En verdad, únicamente solo existe Shiva.
