bahudha shrutayah pravadanti vayam
viyadadir idam murga-toya samam
yadi chaika-nirantara-sarva-shivam
upameyam atho hyupama cha katham

In many eloquent ways the scriptures have said,
“This observable world’s like a desert mirage.”
If there’s only the limitless One, all is Shiva.
How, then, and to what, could the Self be compared?
❧
De muchas maneras elocuentes, las escrituras han dicho:
"Este mundo observable es como un espejismo del desierto".
Si solo existe el Uno Ilimitado, todo es Shiva.
¿Cómo, entonces, y con qué, podría el Ser, ser comparado?
