na te cha mata cha pita cha bandhuh
na te cha patni na sutas cha mitram
na pakshapato na vipakshapatah
katham hi santaptir iyam hi chitte

You have no mother, or father, or brother;
You have no wife, or son, or friend.
You have no attachments or non-attachments;
How, then, do you justify this anxiety of mind?
❧
No tienes madre, ni padre, ni hermano;
No tienes esposa, ni hijo, ni amigo.
No tienes ataduras, ni no-ataduras;
¿Cómo, entonces, justificas esta ansiedad de la mente?
